The KAPLAT seminar aims to introduce advanced analytical technologies to students and faculty members in the partner institutions in Asia. Prominent professors from Kyoto University and Osaka University showcase their cutting-edge research activities. The seminar including a talent-spot event, which is following big successes in Manila and Hanoi, was held in Ulaanbaatar on September 1st this year. We would say “thank you” for many positive registrations to attend the event held at Ulaanbaatar hotel.

After careful consideration, sixteen shortlisted students participated tutorial lectures by fourteen professors of Kyoto University and Osaka University, followed by interview sessions in full of energy.
The event concluded by friendly dinner with all participants and professors at Modern Nomads 2, a popular local restaurant nearby.
Top three students were awarded for one-week internship programs conducted at ICR and IAE, Kyoto University in February 2020.

The KAPLAT seminar and Talent-Spot Event will be held in Yangon, Myanmar next year.
